Cleaning And Sealing Products Solvent Based Tarmac Restorer is a high-performance resin-based sealer designed to revive, protect, and extend the life of tarmac and asphalt surfaces. Available in either red or black tint, it restores the original colour while sealing the surface against water, oil, and weather damage.

Perfect for driveways, footpaths, and other tarmac areas, this hard-wearing sealer also helps to bind loose aggregate, reducing surface wear and creating a clean, uniform finish. It’s a professional-grade product with long-lasting results, easy enough for confident DIY users.

How to Use:

1. Preparation is key – Ensure the tarmac is clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, moss, or algae.

2. Shake well and mix thoroughly with a paddle mixer before and during use to ensure an even tint and consistency.

3. Always do a test patch in a small hidden area to check compatibility, finish, and coverage.

Application Instructions:

• Apply with a brush, roller, or sprayer – avoid splashing or overloading.

• Start with a light coat to build up colour and coverage gradually.

• On porous surfaces, more product may be needed – apply carefully to avoid over-application.

• Apply at 4–6m² per litre.

• Apply the second coat at a 90° angle to the first coat for even coverage. Additional coats should follow the same method.

• Allow each coat to dry fully between applications.

• Clean tools immediately after use with Xylene Solvent.

Top Tips:

• Use paint-block masking tape when sealing near concrete or brick edging to avoid staining.

• Thin, even coats provide better results – build up the colour gradually.

• For smoother surfaces, add Low Slip Granules for extra safety underfoot.
