Cleaning And Sealing Products Natural Stone Sealer is a high-performance solvent-based sealer designed specifically to protect and enhance natural stone, slate, and concrete surfaces. Whether you’re sealing a patio, path, or decorative feature, this sealer forms a durable, water-resistant barrier that protects against weathering, staining, and surface erosion – all while bringing out the natural colour of the stone.

This sealer penetrates the surface to bind and protect, making it ideal for exterior stone paving and decorative concrete, as well as other porous hardscape materials. It’s not suitable for honed, polished, or glazed surfaces.

How to Apply:

1. Always test first:

   • Before full application, carry out a test patch in an inconspicuous area to confirm compatibility and finish.

2. Surface Preparation:

   • Ensure the surface and sub-base are completely dry – this is crucial to avoid trapping moisture.

   • The area must also be clean, free from dust, dirt, algae, or old coatings.

3. Application Tips:

   • Do not apply in direct sunlight or when temperatures are above 20°C.

   • Use a brush, medium pile roller, or low-pressure sprayer.

   • Apply two coats, allowing at least 30 minutes between coats.

   • Apply the second coat at 90 degrees to the first for even coverage.

   • Avoid roller application on block paving—use a sprayer instead for a more uniform finish.

4. Trapped Moisture Fix:

   • If moisture does become trapped, apply Xylene to the affected area and scrub with a brush to release it.

• Eye protection

• Respirator with ABEK P3 filters

• Protective overalls

Coverage:

• 7–10m² per litre, depending on the porosity and texture of the surface.
